Anjali Shankar Kumar joined the firm in 2017 as an employment and litigation associate. Anjali focuses her practice on counseling employers on a range of issues, such as leave laws, wage and hour issues, discrimination complaints, and more. Anjali also represents clients in a wide variety of civil litigation matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Anjali worked at a law firm in Minneapolis, Minnesota, practicing employment law and commercial litigation. Subsequently, she was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Minnesota in the Solicitor General’s Division, focusing on civil litigation, employment law, torts, and constitutional law. While in law school, Anjali was a member of the Philip C. Jessup International Law moot court competition team and a member of the Law Review.
Anjali serves on the boards of the New Lawyers and Labor and Employment Sections of the Hampden County Bar Association, the Hampden County Bar Association, and Link to Libraries. Anjali is also admitted in Connecticut.
